1960 Fender Stringmaster D8

This one was a mess when I got it. Totally grungy and corroded everywhere, so I took it all apart and used metal cleaner and got the hardware looking presentable. The pots were noisy, contact cleaner took care of that. The legs were non functional, and fortunately I had 4 sets of rings and collars from Don Burrows so I was able to get them working. It was missing one of the bridge covers, and I just happened to have one I got from Harry Sheppard a while back. All in all it cleaned up real good, and with 2 new sets of strings it sounds like a Stringmaster should.

I bought it with the idea of reselling it, but now I don't know . .

s'alright!
