The truth is, showing up as a man and participating in life grows more difficult the more you feel consumed by your internal demons and darkness.
But it does not have to be this way.
At the end of the day, we all go through periods where our internal narrative turns against us as we engage in bad habits, addictive and compulsive behaviors, self-loathing, and cycles of shame. While it can be isolating and victimizing, our demons are not a death sentence. Our darkness has much to teach us if we can learn to stay in the fire long enough to work with it, understand it, and appreciate it.
The content portion of the workshop will be taught by Rick Alexander, speaker, author, and coach. This part of the workshop will be dedicated to understanding the psychology and philosophy necessary for learning to overcome these periods of darkness in our own lives.
The second half of this workshop will be led by Angelo Sisco. Angelo is a men's coach and founder of The Alpha Hippie Movement. He will be teaching the method and process he utilizes with clients to work through these periods of darkness, compulsion, and self-loathing.
This will be interactive so be ready to participate and learn.
This workshop will take place on May 6th @ 5 pm Pacific / 8 pm EST and will run for approximately 90 minutes. Please bring something to write with and ensure that you have the ability to utilize the video chat functions as that will be essential to the coaching portion.
*Participants that sign up will be emailed a zoom link prior to the workshop.
Two things to note:
1. This workshop is conforming to a 'pay what you want' model. For people who really want the tools to become better, it is important to me that price is not a barrier to entry so pay whatever you feel comfortable paying.
2. This will NOT be recorded which means you have to attend during the actual time the workshop is held on the 25th of March. This is to preserve the value of the container. The workshop will be interactive so it is important that you are able to show up and do the work.
